The Loud Family

I love my family dearly. They are the happiness in my life. They are so cute, loving, happy. They are also very loud. The layout of our house is such that the bedrooms are up about seven stairs from the main level which has a high ceiling (I'll refer to that as the "echo effect"). S and R now share a room and the baby's room is in the "echo effect" area. The poor baby can never get a good nap because of all the noise. I find myself saying "shhhhhhhhhhhhhh" constantly! They (hubby, S and R) don't seem to have my cat burglar abilities. They walk loud, talk loud, eat loud, etc. When one person is up, everyone is up.

The biggest part of the problem is that hubby gets up at 5:00 a.m. Yes, 5 a.m. In my world that is the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! I'm not a morning person AT ALL. Prior to 7:30 a.m., I lack the skills necessary to effectively communicate with other humans. It's not pretty.

I miss quiet. And sleep.

Oh, I know exactly what you mean! I don't know why everyone has to walk SO loudly and practically scream to talk to each other. I am constantly telling K to "WALK QUIETLY!"

Your blog is fun to read, It is really fun to see what you are up to.

I so HEAR YOU!!! I have the same problem as you. My family is so loud. We have this problem in the car, and in public. QUIET!!!! is my favorite word. I wish I had an intercom in my house so I didn't have to yell and repeat myseld 100 times before someone takes a second and listens. YOu are not alone!!!!! I bet mine(family) are louder than YOURS!!!!

That reminds me of my family (hubby and kids). Just ask your sister. Ryan is not a quiet man. :) I feel for you.
